This exquisite cloak is impossibly thin, lightweight, and voluminous. When swathed in the folds of the cloak, one becomes almost impossible to discern under conditions of night or darkness. Its deep black surface absorbs light unnaturally, and its billows blur the contours of the wearer, blending them into the gloom.
The shadow-magics employed to produce these Shadow Cloaks is a secret of the Drow underworld. As a weakness, or by design, these materials begin to decay when exposed to the full light of the sun. After an hour of exposure to daylight, the cloaks will appear rotted, and their magical properties will have dissolved.
